Differential-Thermoanalyse und Zustandsdiagramm

Abstract

The paper contains a description of a special measuring head for precise differential-thermoanalytical measurements (DTA) of liquid/solid state phase transitions. The interpretation of the position and the shape of the peaks as well as the area enclosed is generally discussed and their use in the construction of T/C-diagrams is given. The binary phase diagram of SbI₃/ HgI₂ over the whole concentration range is cited as an example based on DTA-measurements exclusively.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird ein besonderer Meßkopf für differential-thermoanalytische Präzisionsmessungen (DTA) von Flüssig/kristallin-Phasenübergängen beschrieben. Die Interpretation der Kurvenlage, der Kurvenform und der Ausschlagsflächen wird allgemein besprochen und ihre Auswertung bei der Aufnahme von T/C-Diagrammen durch DTA angegeben. Als Beispiel ist das nur aus DTA-Messungen konstruierte binäre Zustandsdiagramm SbI₃/HgI₂ über den gesamten Konzentrationsbereich beschrieben.
