Simulation als Hilfsmittel bei der Entwicklung chemischer Prozesse

Abstract

The use of simulation in process development is shown on four examples:

• the investigation of the explosive decomposition of a diazoreaction-mixture,
• the determination of safe reaction conditions for a highly exothermic condensation reaction,
• the determination of the optimal feed program for a gaseous reactant in a batch-wise gas-liquid reaction,
• the sizing of the control system for a catalytic reactor.
