Influence de l’Agitation Mécanique sur les Reactions Chimiques Oscillantes en Présence d’Oxygène ou d’Azote

In certain cases, and particularly for the BrO3-/Ce4+/malonic acid system, oxygen seems to inhibit oscillations and the mechanical stirring in a N2 atmosphere has no significant effect on the oscillations. However, for the BrO3-/Ce4+/Cyclohexanon and BrO3-/Ce4+/Cyclopentanon systems under specific experimental conditions, stirring plays a determining part and oxygen has no notable effect on the oscillations.
