Abstract

Esters of N-protected amino acids activated with 4- hydroxyazobenzenesulfonic acid-4' (1) react, ionically bound to the anion exchanger Dowex 1x2, with esters of second amino acids or peptides in formamide as a solvent in this liquid-solid phase system under peptide bond formation.
