Abstract

No reliable details concerning disulphur difluoride have been known until very recently, when the two isomers of this compound were discovered. In this review a survey on the present knowledge of the physical and chemical properties of thiothionyl fluoride, SSF2, and difluorodisulfane, FSSF, is given.
