Abstract

The reaction of photochemically sensitized singlet oxygen with various specific acceptors is used in order to determine actual oxygen concentrations in solution. The given procedure may be applied to wide variety of organic solvents or mixtures of solvents as well as to aqueous solutions. Both soluble and insoluble sensitizers have been used in the given examples.
