Abstract

Investigation of the culture medium of Penicillium chrysogenum THOM (contaminant of two strains of Ceratocystis fimbriata) led to the isolation of the sesquiterpene PR toxin (1) and 2-[(2-hydroxypropionyl)amino]benzamide (2) which have never been isolated as a natural product.
