Kinetische Untersuchungen an der Reaktion von Cystin mit dem Sulfidion in alkalischer Lösung

Abstract

The reaction of cystine and sodium sulfide in alkaline solution was analysed by voltametric and spectrophotometric methods. The results conform with the suppositions of other authors, i.e. the reaction proceeds in two steps. The kinetical evaluation shows, that the first step determines the rate.
