Abstract

The solubility of In2S3(s) has been investigated spectro-photometrically and by atomic absorption spectroscopy respectively in the range of pH 0 to 2 (Fig. 3). At higher pH-values the precipitates have badly ordered lattices (Fig. 1) and consist of very small particles. According to our solubility measurements, the solutions contain the complexes In(SH)2+ and In(SH)2+. Their stability constants are given at the end of this paper.
