Abstract

A state of the art and successful industrial application of nanoparticles, digital ink-jet photo paper, is presented. The new photo paper replaces the traditional barite papers in the reproduction of art and high-quality black and white prints. The patented process takes place at the interface of chemistry and physics. Individual steps are briefly explained.
