Each year the Swiss Chemical Society awards prizes to excellent chemical scientists active in the Swiss chemical community. The prize winners are invited to write an article for CHIMIA describing their award-winning work. Prof. Dmitry Katayev received the Alfred Werner Prize 2025, Stephan Bachmann from F. Hoffmann-La Roche received the Sandmeyer Prize 2025, Julian G. West received the Grammaticakis-Neumann Prize 2025, Henrik Möbitz received the Senior Industrial Science Award 2025, Myriem El Qacemi received the Industrial Science Award 2025, Jeremy Luterbacher received The Green & Sustainable Chemistry Award 2025, Róbert Gyurcsányi received the Simon-Widmer Award 2025, Philippe Dupau received the DIAC Fellowship Award 2025 and the RGCC Cancer Drug Discovery Award 2025 was awarded to Zuzanna Kozicka and Lukas Schneider.
