Zur Frage der Waschechtheit von Textilfärbungen

Abstract

The main-process of the wet-fastness of textil dyeings is calculated. Assuming an ideal partition equilibrium as extreme case it is shown that for normal partition coefficients of the dyestuffs some hundred adjustments of the partition equilibrium are necessary to show remarkable fade. It is shown that a fibre’s treatment with acid may give a acid content of the fibres which stays during many washing processes.
