Polymérisation de l'acrylonitrile dans l'acide nitrique
DOI:

Acrylonitrile in a solution of nitric acid (approximately 60%) is polymerised at about 0°C with an initiator based on ammonium peroxydisulfate, metallic ions and a compound containng one group –C(OH)=CH– or two groups >C=O. Since the thus formed polyacrylonitrile is also soluble in this solvent, the resulting polymer solution is ready for spinning.
