Synthese von Heterozyklen in der Ligandsphäre von Metallionen

Abstract

Dialkylation reactions at 1: 2-complexes of various bidentate mercaptophosphines with Ni(II) and Pd(II) can be classified according two general pathways: 1) Alkylation takes place at the coordinated S-atoms, leading to thioethers; 2) Alkylation leads to elimination of a phosphonium-thioether salt. It is shown how reactions of type 2) can be utilized for the high-yield synthesis of P,S-heterocycIes of medium ring size.
