Abstract

The 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline phosphoramidites (THQphos) have been found to be efficient ligands for iridium-catalyzed asymmetric allylic substitution reactions. In this short review article, an overall introduction on the development of THQphos, involving their original design, preparation, mechanistic studies, applications and features will be described.
