Die Substitutionslabilität der Metall(III)-aquoionen

Abstract

The rare earth metal ions show a characteristic nonlinear correlation between log k₃₄ (k₃₄ : rate constant of the water substitution in the inner coordination sphere) and the reciprocal ionic radius. Similar correlations with thermodynamic parameters are found and discussed in terms of the structure of the aquo ions.
