Vol. 79 No. 7-8 (2025): SCS Major Awards/ SCS Fall Meeting 2025

Each year the Swiss Chemical Society awards prizes to excellent chemical scientists active in the Swiss chemical community. The prize winners are invited to write an article for CHIMIA describing their award-winning work. Prof. Amido Studer received the Paracelsus Prize 2024; Prof Athina Anastasaki received the Alfred Werner Prize 2024; the team at EAWAG were the recipients of the Sandmeyer Prize 2024; Dr Michel Mühlebach was awarded the SCS Senior Industrial Science Award 2024 and Dr. Rosa María Rodríguez Sarmiento was awarded the SCS Industrial Science Award 2024. The Green & Sustainable Chemistry Award 2023 and 2024 were awarded to Prof. Ali Coskun and Prof. Rebecca Buller respectively. The Balmer Prize 2024 went to Dr. Klemens Koch; the METAS Award 2024 to Dr. Andrea Rösch and the DIAC Fellow 2024 to Dr. Florian Kleinbeck.
